On the LEAD ON website, most of the information is available without having to provide personal information. However, users may be asked for their personal information for such purposes as newsletter subscription or posting a comment.

What is the purpose of data collection?

LEAD ON processes the user’s personal data for marketing purposes such as sending the newsletters and for comments on the website. Furthermore, LEAD ON analyzes user behavior on the website for the purpose of improving the website.

What is the legal basis of data collection?

LEAD ON has the user’s name, a picture and email address because that person deliberately entered it when signing up for the newsletter or posting a comment. Information about the browser, device type and IP address comes from the cookies, they must be accepted when the user browses to the website. With whom will personal data all be shared?

Our LEAD ON cookies are only for us, meaning they will not be shared with third parties. Not now, not ever. On top of that, we process all stored data anonymously.

How long will the data be kept?

If you leave a comment, the comment and metadata will be stored indefinitely. That way, we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a queue for moderation.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.
